Directions

By train:
From Darmstadt Main Station take trams No.2 or 3 or buses H or K to Luisenplatz. Leave the square in direction of the castle. Walk past the castle. Turn left for "Haus der Geschichte" or straight ahead past the convention center "Darmstadtium" for the Fraunhofer IGD.
 
By plane: Frankfurt International Airport 
The Airport shuttle bus (AIR) will take you to the central railway station in Darmstadt. From here follow directions as given above. A taxi will take about 20 minutes.
 
By Car:
From the A5/A67 interchange known as the “Darmstaedter Kreuz” follow signs to 
DARMSTADT STADMITTE (Darmstadt city center). You will enter the city along the 
Rheinstrasse. Follow signs straight ahead for Zentrum/Stadtmitte. Go through the city tunnel and continue on to the end of the ring road. Keep in the left-hand lane past the  Darmstadtium and the Technische Universität (University of Technology) on the right until you come to the entrance to the “Schlossgarage/Karolinenplatz” underground garage.
